Does Asus know something that we don’t know…?
I’m not a firm believer in the possibility of other life forms in outer space, but Asus seems to be - their warranty doesn’t cover “space invasions.” So if War of the Worlds actually comes true, Asus computer owners are screwed in multiple ways.
Here’s the section where it is included:
Exclusions from your ASUS Warranty Extension Program including the WEP On-Site NBD Limited Hardware Warranty Service
• There is damage caused by natural disaster, intentional or unintentional misuse, acts of war, space invasions, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or use under abnormal conditions
Apparently, a computer damaged in an alien attack is more common than normal abuse or neglect. Than again, Apple’s disclaimer doesn’t cover any damage caused by acts of God. Strange…but interesting!
